The annual Scholarship Gala was held on Saturday, June 11 at the Harbert Center. The featured
speaker was Dr. Gilbert Rochon, President of Tuskegee University.
At the Gala, Zachary White was announced as the winner of the 2011 scholarship winner. He is a graduate of Ramsay High Scholl and is the class valadictorian.

The 2011 Bienneial Regional Comference was held July 15-17 at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center at Tuskegee University. Club President, Will Howell was present during the Conference. Birmingham alumni members Madlyn Rucker, Gertrude Roscoe and Jacob Ransom were also present.

Lewis Crews Classic
Birmingham Tuskegee alumni traveled to Huntsville by chartered bus on September 14 to attend the Lewis Crews Classic football game between Tuskegee and Alabama A&M University. Several Miles and Alabama A&M alumni were also aboard the bus. Alabama A&M won the game 21 to 6.
Fall Open House
The Fall Open House for prospective Tuskegee University students will be held on Saturday, October 29. For more details, see Open House information.
Honda Battle of the Bands
Tuskegee University is among the colleges vying for an opportunity to participate in the Honda Battle of the Bands. Eight bands will be selected to participate. The Battle of the Bands will be held in Atlanta, Georgia in the Georgia Dome on January 28, 2012. Online voting for bands will end at midnight EST on October 12. Support the Crimson Pipers by voting.
