| Membership The membership drive for the 2012 calendar year will close at the end of May. After that time, membership payments will be for the 2013 calendar year. Yeldere, Karon Lewis, Flora Y. Blackledge, Christopher Whitfield and Barbara Y. Huntley. Tuskegee Football Schedule - 2012 Tuskegee University has announced its 2012 football schedule. Homecoming Will be on October 20 where Tuskegee's opponent will be Kentucky State. The game with Alabama State is still under negotiation. See the football schedule. |
Its Gala Time!
The Birmingham Area Tuskegee Alumni Association will present its Annual Scholarship Gala on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the Harbert Center located at 2019 4th Ave. N., Birmingham, AL. 35203. The event will start at 11:00 a.m.
This year’s special guest will be The Honorable Omar Neal, Mayor City of Tuskegee, Alabama. Proceeds from the Gala will benefit the Birmingham Area Tuskegee Alumni Scholarship Foundation. The Alumni Scholarship Foundation is the organization by which BATAA assist local students attending Tuskegee with their financial obligations. Through this fund raising event many students have been able to start and continue their education at Tuskegee.
Donation is $50.00 and tickets can be purchased from any local alumni member or by contacting Mrs. Clarice Wortham, at 205.276.2289.Vote for Miss Tuskegee Ebony Magazine has bugun online voting for HBCU Campus Queens who will appear in the September 2012 magazine edition. Voting began on May 8 and will end at 11:59 PM (CT) on May 31. In order to vote, a form must first be completed which provides for a one year complimentary subscription to Ebony Magazine.
